Tom firmly believes in the positive results that come from stretching oneself throughout a career. Early on, he moved from insurance and mortgage advising into business development within the construction sector, later becoming Director of Business Development for a company producing clear protective coatings for windows and door frames used during and after construction.
With a strong affinity for the construction industry and a keen interest in exploring new opportunities within the coatings sector, Tom felt that Powdertech’s Commercial Manager role was a natural fit. His experience, industry knowledge and approachable personality have already made him a valued addition to the team.
As part of his role, Tom will also be working with the QUALICOAT marketing committee – this working group is tasked with directing global brand initiatives and managing the rollout of brand updates. We are proud to hold QUALICOAT accreditation at the highest ‘Seaside’ level, reflecting our commitment to quality and durability in architectural powder coating.
Outside work, Tom enjoys playing golf and can usually be found at the picturesque Brampton Park Golf Club.
