New QUALICOAT QR Codes Support Transparency and Compliance

QUALICOAT UK & Ireland has introduced a new QR code verification system for member certificates, transforming them from static documents into live verification tools. QUALICOAT has said that the move reflects growing industry demands for clear evidence of compliance and competency, particularly across specification, procurement and audit processes.

As a QUALICOAT-approved applicator, Powdertech Corby welcomes initiatives that strengthen quality assurance, accountability and confidence in architectural powder coating standards.

By scanning the QR code, specifiers, contractors and procurement teams can instantly access the member’s live record within the QUALICOAT QCT360 database, where the current validity of the licence can be confirmed. Users can also view key information including licence type, certification year and expiry date.

The initiative has been introduced to support greater transparency and traceability within the construction supply chain, helping to reduce the risk of non-compliant suppliers being specified and making due diligence checks faster and easier.
